Important Points for CGL 2017 after analysis of CGL 2016 Tier I and Tier II
As the Tier I and Tier II of 2016 CGL has been completed, now the CGL 2017 will going to be arrive in a few months so this is the best time to start preparation for the same. SSC has already declared the exam date of CGL 2017, so the students who are not lucky enough to qualify 2016 Tier I and other aspirants who are going to appear first time in 2017 CGL must tighten their belt for the cut throat competition. Before you start preparation, you must know some important points, which are going to be a charisma for you.

Here are some important points:
  1. As all of you know that this year cut off was high not only in SSC CGL Tier I exam but in other competitive exams too, and this indicates the increasing competition and urge in students to grab a government job. So, you cannot think that it will go down in upcoming year.
  2. This year Tier I paper was easy in comparison to previous year paper but it is not easy to score 137 marks whatever may be the level of paper. This year only those candidates makes their name in the list who are good in all sections
  3. In CGL Tier I 2016 the students who takes maths and English seriously and take GS and Reasoning in light way are the most affected, as you cannot qualify Tier I on the basis of these two portions. All four sections play equal role, so pay equal attention to all the four sections as you will appear in Tier II after qualifying Tie I.
  4. In CGL Tier I the students whose speed is not too good are affected by this result so work on your speed from the very much starting.
  5. 137 marks in itself indicates accuracy in attempting questions, so you must work on your accuracy too.
  6. If we compare the 2016 Tier II with the previous year, then we find that it is little bit tough and lengthy and it indicates that the level may be high in the upcoming time too. So, keep you your moves sharp and precise from the starting as you cannot master the tier II exam in one month period.
  7. If we see the trends of vacancy, it is going downwards and keeps decreasing, so here are high chances that the vacancy may decrease in the upcoming time and this will affect the cut off.
  8. In 2016 SSC conducted the exam in online mode and students who are not acquainted with online mode face this as another hurdle so get yourself familiar with this mode before the exam. If you are not familiar with this mode then it may be a great barrier in Tier II as there are two paper of 2 hours each.

  1. Start your preparation as soon as possible as there is enough time and you can prepare your base and clear your concept easily

  3. Give equal time and importance for all the sections.
  4. You must be clear and concise for your preparation and the strategy you are going to follow.
